What is QianKun?
The name “QianKun” comes from Qian and Kun. Two of the eight trigrams, among the oldest philosophical symbols in China. Over 3000 years ago, the I Ching (Book of Changes) explained them as Qian representing heaven and Kun representing earth. When they work together through human creation and growth, change and endurance, life goes on endlessly. Inspired by this wisdom, we've made balance the heart of our brand, bringing the same philosophy into our carbon wheels.
Qian (乾): Represents heaven, and symbolizes strength, robustness, and the spirit of constantly striving for self-improvement.
Kun (坤): Represents earth, and symbolizes gentleness, compliance, and the quality of being inclusive and expansive.

How We Craft It
Rims
Every QianKun rim is crafted from HI-MOD T1000 carbon fiber, a material chosen for its unmatched strength-to-weight ratio. Engineered with a 23 mm internal and 32 mm external width, our rims are optimized under the 105% aero rule to maximize aerodynamic efficiency with 28c tires. Each rim undergoes rigidity, lateral stiffness, and impact testing — with spoke holes proven to withstand 600 kgf of force. This ensures every QianKun rim balances feather-light weight with race-level durability.
Hubs
At the heart of Qiankun wheels is our hub, designed around the Pro-Fit TA System to prevent over-tightened bearings, guaranteeing smoother rolling and longer life, especially with ceramic bearings. Our new ratchet and spring system provides instant engagement, while two spoke heads in one hole hub flange geometry reduces hub weight without compromising strength. Tested to 230 Nm torque for 52,000 cycles with zero damage, Qiankun hubs embody endurance, responsiveness, and precision.
Spokes
Qiankun’s aero carbon spokes are engineered for maximum stiffness and responsiveness. CFD-optimized for reduced drag, each spoke is individually tested to survive 260 kgf of pulling force. Stronger than steel yet lighter than titanium, these spokes deliver instant power transfer when you sprint, climb, or accelerate. The result: a wheel system that feels alive under your every move.
Quality Control
Every Qiankun wheel is hand-built by master wheel builders ensuring flawless trueness and balance. Each build is subjected to triple high-pressure tests up to 150 psi, verifying stability under real-world conditions. With a 3-year global warranty and crash replacement program, riders can trust that every Qiankun wheelset carries the DNA of balance, strength, and reliability from first ride to finish line.
